There wouldn't be a Thanksgiving without an organized!
With Thanksgiving one week away, I am not going to write about overhauling and reorganizing your kitchen cabinets and pantry because you don't have enough time. So let's get down to the nitty gritty!
Tip #1: Look through your pantry and kitchen cabinets (be prepared to take notes)
Discard expired spices, canned good, and any other consumable product.
Organize like items together. Just place them together, there's no time to purchase any organization items.
Add the list of items you need for your Thanksgiving grocery shopping.
Tip #2: Do a quick clean out of your fridge & freezer.
If you have time to deep clean your fridge & freezer, do so. If you don't have time for a deep clean, do a quick wipe with your favorite cleaner.
Inspect each bottle, can, container, vegetable drawer, and frozen items to see what needs to get discarded. When in doubt, throw it out!
Place like items together.
Make room for Thanksgiving groceries.
Tip #3: Clean. Yes, cleaning still needs to be done so pick a day to clean oven, stoves, appliances, and those platters and serveware that have not been used since last holiday. I recommend the day before, and include laundering and ironing linens. Don't forget to vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Okay, we're done! Read all the previous Thanksgiving posts, follow the tips one room at a time, and you will be more than ready by Thanksgiving.
